AirCurve10ST Settings Change Automatically
Anyone with an AirCurve10 ST having trouble with inhal/exhale changing automatically? I had the DME reset this feature twice so that it would work in sync with my breathing. Got it pretty close but now it's too fast again. Ugh. What could be causing that? It's impossible to sleep when the machine is not in sync with your breathing.

what do you allege is changing?lwieland11 wrote:Anyone with an AirCurve10 ST having trouble with inhal/exhale changing automatically? Re: AirCurve10ST Settings Change Automatically
The DME reset something(T something) that made the machine more in sync with my breathing. It was forcing me to inhale and exhale faster than I normally do. All was well. Then, today I was napping and the the machine was suddenly back to the inhale exhale too fast thing. It went back to what it was doing before. I didn't do a thing. That's why I said it did it automatically.

if settings were changed, it was from your DME over the air.lwieland11 wrote:The DME reset something(T something) that made the machine more in sync with my breathing. Re: AirCurve10ST Settings Change Automatically
No, they would have no reason to do that.
Re: AirCurve10ST Settings Change Automatically
well, the settings in the machine are fairly simple, and easy to check, and do not change on their own. so either the settings have been changed locally, or remotely, or you're imagining the difference.lwieland11 wrote:No, they would have no reason to do that.
why not go into the settings menu and see if anything has changed.

Re: AirCurve10ST Settings Change Automatically
do you know how to go into the clinician settings of your machine ?
this information is easily found on the interwebs [sic]
you can see what all of your settings are.
as most other people have stated, it's highly unlikely, i.e. nope, that your settings just changed on their own.
those machines are just not that smart, or devious.

Ok, So how do you explain the obvious change in inhale exhale rate? Machine isn't capable of doing it. I I didn't touch the settings. Could the machine be capable of malfunctioning?

have you compared the settings?lwieland11 wrote:Ok, So how do you explain the obvious change in inhale exhale rate? Machine isn't capable of doing it. I I didn't touch the settings. Could the machine be capable of malfunctioning?
if they haven't changed, ... then the machine isn't behaving differently.

I'll ask the DME on Mon. I don't feel comfortable adjusting my own settings.
