Had a rough night, my machine waterboarded me

Post by JeffL » Fri Mar 24, 2017 7:50 am

I've been on CPAP for almost 6 years, and this this was a first for me. Somehow I got tangled up in my hose and pulled my machine off of my night stand. It fell a few inched down onto my bed upside down. I woke up to some gurgling sounds. When I realized what had happened, I just picked up the still running machine, and turned it right side up to put it back. That's when a massive amount of water shot up my nose It must have been quite a lot, because I had filled the tank a couple of hours earlier, and it was nearly empty, and I didn't see a lot of water anywhere else. I don't think it would have happened with my old, heavier S9.

I think some hose management should be in your future...

based on your pic, you should be used to things like that.

. . . gives new meaning to the phrase "rude awakening". . .

Jean
O soft embalmer of the still midnight,
Shutting, with careful fingers and benign,
Our gloom-pleas'd eyes, embower'd from the light,
Enshaded in forgetfulness divine

This is exactly the reason they tell you to put the machine lower than your head... or one of the reasons at least.
