new CPAP for me

Post by tlohse » Thu Mar 23, 2017 7:07 pm

I just found out from my sleep specialist that I might be getting a new CPAP machine. It works different that the one I currently have and will help with some of my levels. They are calling my DME provider to find out if I can get it. the DR office will call me if I get it.

Based on your humidifier, I can infer that you have a Respironics 50 Series CPAP. It seems that you've had it almost five years and it's time for a new one. I suggest that you keep the old one on hand as a spare. Also, just like a spare refrigerator or dishwasher, use it (or run the motor without using it) for several hours every month.

How so?
Is it a bipap? Are you having problems with the 450?
