In almost every case, I agree that the answer is yes.

It's unlikely (but no impossible) that there is an eccentric incompatibility out there.

The mask fits the hose... not the machine. Most cpap masks have a coupler to connect the hose to the mask.

The Amara View has a short hose coupler, would this effect the effectiveness of a heated hose?

Might affect things a tiny bit but not horribly so.
The mask I am using has an even longer short hose to the pillows and I don't really have a problem with the short hose assembly part of the mask not being heated.
The worst that could happen if the bedroom was really cold would be condensation forming in the short hose or nasal pillows and even then that's fixable

If it is a concern, Pad a Cheek has a hose cover for that short hose.
I like the little hose, as it gets the bulky stuff away from my face.
Neither I nor the bullfrog likes a cold bedroom, so no cover is needed.
