Sudden big change to the worse

Post by Dogjudge » Tue Mar 21, 2017 10:05 am

First of all, I lost the link to the website that allows you to take a picture of your graphs and then post the graph here. Could someone please give me that link? Thanks.

I've gone about 4 or 5 months with everything being great. Not that it makes a lot of difference, but AHI was running around 2.2 or lower. For about a one week stretch, I was around 1.5, lowest 0.88.

Nothing has changed. In the last 2 weeks, everything has been getting worse. Have been running in the mid to high 4s. Last night I was at 5.5, which for me is not good.

If nothing has changed, why would I get a dramatic change.

It could be something as simple as Spring. Increase in pollen, mold.

Do you mean Imgur.com?

None of the settings have changed.

Medications haven't changed.

Same room, same bed, same pillow, same temperature as far as I know, lights, etc. are the same.

I was having no problems with hypopneas and obstructive incidents. Obstructive has gone up to 3-4 per night and hypopneas have ballooned into the 30s.

I have had a cold/cough. One of those ones where you cough a bit for maybe a month, then have a cold for a few days, and then a nagging cough (only in the evening). That's the only thing that I can think of that is causing this.

Any chance some of that coughing is confusing the machine and those reported events are really just coughing? Maybe someone who has monitored their data when coughing could speak to this?

they shouldn't be... coughs are pretty quick excursions on the flow trace, and don't look anything like an apnea, hypo, flow limit or snore... though maybe if there was something around the cough... maybe.

I'd have to see the some zoomes around the flagged events, and I can't get anything from the attempted link post above.
