ResMed S9 3707 hours

Post by Suzannekrauss » Fri Mar 17, 2017 9:32 am

Hi,
I have a working machine I no longer need due to weight loss. The used machine is in great condition with filters and humidity hose still packaged unopened. The carrying case is also included. I am looking for $50.00.

So exactly which model S9?
Escape?
Escape Auto?
Elite?
Autoset?
Or one of the many VPAP models?

I suggest keeping the machine. Even if you don't need it now, you don't know what the future will hold. It's very involved to get a new one. Also, even though I think cooler heads will prevail and Obamacare will largely remain in force, health care is under threat.

Oh yes right. It is an Escape. That is not automatic.

I am in process of registering now.

Thanks for the feedback.

Just because you lost weight doesn't mean you don't need a machine - have you had a new sleep study?

A two and half year old brick for $50. Good luck.
If you have not had a sleep study to prove you no longer need the machine then I would concentrate on your health rather than a mere $50 in your back pocket

Bricks are fine for a backup machine.

But I do agree. Before selling your machine, you should get a sleep study that confirms that you no longer have apnea. Weight loss often lowers the level of pressure needed but does not always eliminate the need for a cpap.
