is there a certain mask which is "best" for someone with a beard ? Or would they all
Be roughly about the same.
Be roughly about the same.
a nasal pillow works best for me as a full bearded fellow. the airfit p10 to be precise. the full face masks just have too much leakage for me. same is true for nasal masks.Yayoe10 wrote:is there a certain mask which is "best" for someone with a beard ? Or would they all

If you need a FFM, you need a FFM. Independent of whether or not you have a beard.zonker wrote:a nasal pillow works best for me as a full bearded fellow. the airfit p10 to be precise. the full face masks just have too much leakage for me
true, that. but what he asked is what mask works better for someone with a beard. i offered my opinion.ChicagoGranny wrote:If you need a FFM, you need a FFM. It's not about "opinion". It's about misleading someone who uses a FFM. Potentially sending them on an expensive, tiring and time-consuming wild-goose chase at the end of which they are right back where they started.zonker wrote:true, that. but what he asked is what mask works better for someone with a beard. i offered my opinion.
sorry it isn't the same opinion as yours....
i'm really not getting what you are saying. OP-"is there a certain mask which is "best" for someone with a beard ? Or would they allChicagoGranny wrote:It's not about "opinion". it's like someone asking "what is the best truck to haul around about a ton of materials" and zonker pipes up and says "well, for me, a ford escort works best!!!"
again, OP-"is there a certain mask which is "best" for someone with a beard ? Or would they all
Be roughly about the same." could you explain how my answer is off topic?

Part of giving good answers is to understand that patients are often asking the wrong question.grayghost4 wrote:the OP did NOT ask for the best FF mask ....

but a mask is a very personal thing ... most of us have tried many to get the RIGHT one

Your profile shows you use a full face mask (FFM). Is it the case that you sometimes mouth breathe and must continue to use a FFM?Yayoe10 wrote:is there a certain mask which is "best" for someone with a beard ? Or would they all
