Resumed clap with humidifier for sale

Post by Debra957 » Sat Mar 04, 2017 9:27 am

Hi everyone -

I just found this site and am wondering how to sell my Resmed S9 auto set cpap with removable heated humidifier. It comes with two new sets of tubing, travel bag and a small women's mask Auattro FX with a pink headband. I have lost enough weight that I don't need a cpap anymore. It has been sitting in my closet for a while and I am downsizing and don't need it. I paid about $1200 for it new about six years ago. I have never had any trouble with it and it is in great working condition. I am a non smoker and used it for approximately 1-1/2 years. Please PM me for more information. Thanks. Deb

Ps. I should add that I apologize in advance if this post is not accepted on this site. I am definitely looking for ideas on where to sell my resumed Cpap s9. I would appreciate any assistance anyone can offer.

Not that I am interested but someone else might be depending on exactly how many run hours it has on it and how much you want for it. Unless the mask is brand new in unopened package it's not going to have any $ value....after this length of time a used mask has no value.

Your local craigslist is an option for selling locally.

Yeah...I had to laugh to. You gotta love auto correct when you don't notice that it "fixed" a spelling error for you.
I don't think that OP can fix the subject line since he/she wasn't logged in when the post was made.
I don't think the edit feature is available unless a person is logged in when posting.

This would be very unusual, but not impossible. You should have a sleep study before you give up the CPAP and sell it. Depending on the specific model of ResMed and the total run hours, the value may be very low.

Actually, it's not that unusual if she is under 35. For a lot of younger folks, once they lose the weight, within a year or so, the structures tighten up.

I wouldn't start out by saying you paid $1200 for it. Everyone starts out CPAP not knowing very much. You get wise pretty fast when it comes to money. I turned in a machine from rental for a better used low hours Autosense 10 for not much more than a couple months rental would cost me. Saying how much you paid won't impress anyone and it makes it sound like you will be unreasonable to deal with. It is an old machine most everyone has a good idea of what it is worth. Many people look for backup machines. Have reasonable expectations and the prices you see on craig's list are not what they sell for.
Seeing and believing are often both wrong. FOW

Consider donating the unit to a homeless shelter.
It could save a life.

Better still, put it back in it's bad store it dry, then when you realize you still have Sleep Apnea you won't have to put out big bucks for another machine. Jim
