my cpap won't turn on

I just moved my machine from one room to another, plugged it in, and it won't turn on. it's bedtime on a friday night.

the green led is lit up on the box on the power cord. i know that the plug is live. but when i push the power button, nada. i tried holding it down, i tried giving it a quick push, etc.

the machine isn't that old. i've been using it for six months. no problems with it before this.

is there anything i can try? any sort of reset? any chance of user error?

of course this would happen at the start of a weekend.

unplug it from the back of the machine, and plug it in again.

i didn't even know the cord was unpluggable at that end.
