I often wondered why Respironics turned off FL flagging in cpap mode...FLs are very important and a critical part of the auto adjusting algorithm.
I get that cpap can't adjust but knowing if the FLs were happening might be important. I figure if FLs weren't important then why does the apap try to kill them with more pressure.
IMHO someone didn't think things through very good when they turned off the FL flags in fixed mode (they do it on fixed bilevel also).
It would be real simple I would think to at least have the flagging turned off so a person could see if they were happening even if cpap mode won't try to kill them.
