We now have twin select comforts that are adjustable (not just the air for softness/hardness) but adjust fully at the feet and head. I have a very serious back/neck injury and it works great f...

Nosebreathe

YIPES!! I must have removed my nosebreathe mouthpiece in early am and left on bed rather than putting in drawer. When I went in later am to make the bed - there it sat - right where the dog chewed it up!!! I immediately got on line and ordered 2 from steven@nosebreathe.com so I'd have one and a spar...

I squeeze some UNPETROLEUM JELLY (available at health food stores) into a small container and add 10 drops of essential oil of Myrrh (will tighten tissues) and use in nostrils every night with Swift nasal pillows. Have healed all sores and prevented any more.........................

pad a cheek

Tom - The best thing to prevent the forehead bruising is to go to Pad A Cheek and buy her forehead pads. I had much trouble with soreness over the bridge of my nose and finally started using the Band Aid ActivFlex pads on the bridge of nose -helped considerably. If your skin is not sensitive to adhe...

asthma

Birdie Baby - I don't have asthma but have Reactive Airway Disease, which is basically asthma minus the bronchial spasms. You MUST get a humidifier or your lungs will be as dry as your nose and throat. I have been able to stay away from Albuterol since starting CPAP 4/4/06 - humidified air keeps my ...

prevent sores bridge of nose

Have posted this before but bears repeating. Have found the answer (for me) to prevent mask from digging into bridge of nose - I know for many of us "pappers", that's sometimes reason enough to have to stop using CPAP - at best, it is painful and obnoxious. I have learned if I use the BandAid brand ...
