This is affecting many
Me being one of those many (as you can see by the time I'm writing this post). I've *never* had trouble sleeping before. An occasional difficult night here or there, like anyone else, but nothing even close to insomnia until recently. I've had some totally sleepless nights in the past few weeks, and it sucks.
The article was written before the election, but it's on-target. The very last line is too ironic for words...

One, I'm not experiencing the kind of insomnia where I'm laying in bed for hours with the machine/mask on, unable to nod off. Most of the time, I'm not tired enough to even get into bed and attempt sleep. When I finally do feel ready for bed (lately, that's between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m.), I'm thoroughly exhausted and can fall asleep without much trouble. But even then, I'm not sleeping anywhere near long enough (5-6 hours each night). In a nutshell, I don't know that my comparison charts from before and after the election will be very different (aside from showing the length of time asleep).
Two, I haven't checked my data and haven't saved graphs for a long time. I'm not sure if I can access any detailed data from before the election for a comparison, but I'll download my SD card and see what I have access to.

Re: This is affecting many
The fact you voted for Trump, yet come here and complain violently about the things Trump is doing, that is classicly illustrative of the problems with America today. In reality, you are a closet democrat. You are what is called a RINO GOP voter. Also known as a "low information voter."
You are not the only one, however. American is full of people like yourself these days. People who THINK they are "conservative" or GOP but in reality, they are closet democrats.
The average American these days does not even know what it really means to actually BE an American. Thats a problem.
I kindly suggest you go to a friendly psychiatrist outpatient and request a prescription for a sedating anti-anxiety (stress) medication. It will most likely help your sleep tremendously. And allow you to "transition" as the United States of America gradually returns to being the old United States of America we all once used to know. Its going to take time. It will probably take a successful GOP midterm election in 2018 and get more progressive democrats cleaned out of the U.S. Senate before we see the kinds of true results Trump administration desires. If the Senate is cleaned out of progressive democrat Senators in midterms 2018, I say its all over for the American leftist, socialist movement.
But in the meantime, going by your recent upset posts, I highly suggest you get medicated and possibly, heavily sedated for a few months. Just personal opinion. This is not a dig at you, its an honest attempt to help you deal with and survive the current times without popping a heart valve or developing new medical issues caused by hypertension, severe worry, etc.

You're hilarious (in addition to being the most unobservant - and probably the most ignorant - person I've ever come across). Whatever gave you the idea that I voted for Dump???MrGrumpy wrote:The fact you voted for Trump, yet come here and complain violently about the things Trump is doing, that is classicly illustrative of the problems with America today. Try again, Skippy. I'm neither a republican nor a democrat (not that it's any of your business), and my views are nowhere near closeted. You are not the only one, however. What's your definition? The average American these days does not even know what it really means to actually BE an American. Thats a problem.

Go back to sleep, Skippy, or grab a lifejacket. You're way out of your depth...

I've noticed since Trump won the election my mask leak rate has decreased, I reason it's because I'm smiling in my sleep, frowning causes more leaks. JimWulfman... wrote:Ya know........I sort of had that problem before the election, too. But, since then, I've been sleeping like a rock.
