where have all the flowers gone?

my wife and i made a big move from the pacific northwest to flagstaff, arizona. in order to get things ready for the big move, i "went dark" about three weeks before christmas. that is, i didn't visit any forums or bbs' or however one refers to these sites. once moved and settled(around first week of new year), i logged on here to find several members missing in action.

where is jay? where is pugsy? where is pale rider? where is the math professor? (dammit, as soon as i post this, her name will pop into my head) where have they gone? i see what i think is pugsy's last post on 12/26, but she doesn't seem to be upset.

i'm hoping that ALL of you read this and find time to come back in. your advice is sorely missed!

i hope all is well in your lives and we get to read your posts again real soon.

Pugsy has traditionally taken a vacation about this time of year to see her grandson and his mother.

Sometimes we forget that everyone has a life outside of the forum and that there are other things that need our time.
Jay Aitchsee is around. RobbySue and PaleRider, I don't know.
I've been in contact with Pugsy and she is fine, just taking a break.
And Zonker you are right we do miss them especially when they are all gone at the same time.

I have returned.
I always go to Las Vegas around Christmas for a week or so and I use that time to take a break from the forum.
The break just lasted a little longer this year. Sometimes I just need to get away from the forum for a little while and renew my energy levels and improve my attitude.

I haven't heard anything from or about RobySue but she is like me and sometimes has other issues that take up her time. That may be what has happened this time.
Palerider has been ill and not up to much forum interaction. I will tell him that people are actually missing his sharp tongue/fingers .

yeah, if i'd just kept my lip zipped for one more day. i was in earlier, but didn't reply. saw a reply from pugsy!

well howdy m'am. guess i was too busy(or self absorbed) during christmas 2015 to notice you were "missing" then. and can't blame you for wanting a recharge. i haven't looked but i'm sure you must have the title fro most replies on this forum.

yes, now that i recall, robysue goes missing from time to time. can understand being busy. but what's the expression? if you want something done, ask a busy person?

and sorry to hear that about pale rider. i don't agree with his attitude, but he certainly is knowledgeable. hope he's well soon!
