Re: hi is a reconditioned machine good
I supposedly got a new machine for a 13 month rental to own. Looking at the hidden machine screens found it had more than 120 hours on it. The motors will probably last a long time if the permanent lubrication was properly done at the time of manufacture. If it gets through the first year without no...

Re: Why has my AHI gone up? (w/screenshots)
If it is an AirSense 10 model and all you see is "CPAP" on the blower then it doesn't gather the details needed for the graphs. You need to see either "Elite" "Autoset" "AutoSet for Her" along with the AirSense 10 wording on the blower. Thanks for that info, mine is only a Airsense 10 CPAP. My wife...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 usage time reset?
The time from noon to the following noon will be combined as one "night". Just last week I was up about 2am for an hour. When I checked it in the morning online it said 5 1/2 hours. I know it was at least 8. Thought it would update that data on the web site the next day but it didn't. There have be...

Re: Excessive Dryness After Changing CPAP
It could be the season or the house. I'm new to CPAP. I have a like problem with Airsense 10. For the first 3 months I did not use humidity because I was running off battery, no problem at all. Now back on the grid I have a pretty consistent dry mouth now that I am using humidity. Wife likes it cool...

Re: New to Dreamwear
I fully feel this product is not ready for prime time. Still, I wouldn't use anything else. It is insane to think that just four sizes fits every nose. Sleep study started me out with a MW. After 30 days I found this little chart in the bag that clearly showed that I should wear a M. Just goes to sh...

Re: Why has my AHI gone up? (w/screenshots)
I have a Resmed machine and none of those graphics. Being a technical guy I like that stuff and have no trust in doctors since a couple almost killed me. My sleep study was high price and a do it yourself activity. I learned nothing from those people. When I finally saw the doc 3 months later he mus...

Re: So I finally have my APAP machine but...
My machine was set up to start at 5 and go to 7 in 15 minutes. I couldn't stand it. I changed the machine to go from 6.4 to 7.6 in five minutes and that was better. They make it so you have to go back to the doc to change that, but that secret code only took three minutes to figure out. For the long...

Re: Humidifier or Not???
I got my machine and was off to my camp the next day. I am totally off grid and run on solar so humidifier was out of the question. I still filled the tank. Never had any problems at all for 80 days. Now that I am back to grid use I run the humidifier. Nothing but problems with dry throat. Go figure.
