The doctor said "WOW"
The sleep specialist doctor reviewed my recent overnight hospital sleep study on his computer screen, he looked over at me and said "wow" you have serious central sleep apnea. The big light bulb moment went on........ this explains the emotional stuff that has been going on within the the mind. You can't hide from the effects of deprived sound sleep night after night.
Fortunately I am retired and can pace myself accordingly. Being honest with love ones that my lifestyle is more subdued now and a lot less running about. My window of activity peaks at about 3 hours then the tiredness overwhelms.

The realty of serous central sleep apnea is beyond the marketing hype of the breathing machines (cpap and bipap and other trendy machine names).

40 years of smoking (9 years smoke free) has its consequences. I take full responsibility for my medical condition. I need no sympathy just understanding that I do have more limitation now. Life is to live and not rust away.

I assume you now have an ASV machine? If so it should be fine to live a normal life.
