dry nose in the morning

Post by sleep charles » Wed Jan 04, 2017 3:48 pm

I have been using a cpap for 8 years. My pressure was moved from 10 to 12 last year. Now my nose is dry when I get up and through out the day. When sitting in a chair sometimes its hard to catch my breath. Suggestions????

Humidifier, are you using one?
Did you use one before?

Try turning it up for a couple of days then
Turn it down for a couple of days and see which of the 3 settings you prefer Up, Current, or down

Adding to bonjour, you want to consider using, "Ayr: Saline Nasal Gel" that comes in something like a toothpaste container.
IMHO, don't get the spray, I didn't like using it.
What I do is rub some around the outside nars, and inside the nare.
It's not the cure all, but it does help somewhat for me.

I also used the Ayr nasal gel while getting used to Cpap and it helped. I also like the gel better than the spray. Haven't needed to use it in a long time but it was a big help for a dry nose.
