Re: Please help with pressures

... I had that week or two in May when I was waking up daily feeling very refreshed. The only thing that happened since then is I started getting aerophagia and then the pressures went out of wack. I attached my sleep study results (using 3% oxi desaturation) as I figured that is more sensitive ...

Please help with pressures

... this thread on ApneaBoard and didn't get much help so I was hoping that you guys might be able to steer me in the right direction. I haven't had Aerophagia in a few days since turning on EPR to 1 and updating pressures to 8.6-11.4 cm (after I had aero, I tried EPR 3 and 2 on 7-11.4 cm). ---------------------------- ...

Re: Help required to reduce AHI and Aerophagia

Hi, I was hoping someone could help with my current cpap issue relating again to nasal dryness. I had been using the Phillips Nuance Pro mask with good success up until about 6 weeks ago when it was time to change my mask. I then found out that mask had been discontinued, so decided to opt for the D...

Lightly used AirMini and brand new P10 kit for sale

I got an AirMini with F20 kit from Lofta only 1 month ago and after only 9 hours of use (several short attempts), can't handle the resulting aerophagia. I'm going to stick to a MAD since this clearly isn't the right solution for my mild OSA. So.... I have a very lightly used AirMini (total of ...

Help with Pressure Settings on APAP OSCAR Data Attached

... most nights, would it help to raise the max to 13.0 to give the machine more room to work? Or could that trigger more arousals or discomfort like aerophagia? Should I raise the minimum pressure a bit (to 11.4 or 11.6) to improve stability? Any ideas on how to further reduce RERAs and arousals ...

Re: Dental Bone graft top front teeth shifting due to N20 - options?

True. But it will stop my severe aerophagia from mouth breathing.

My bed is adjustable and I had the head raised to about 30 degrees. I will crank it up more.

Thanks for your response

Dental Bone graft top front teeth shifting due to N20 - options?

... “no cpap” guidance. So last night i used mouth tape and no cpap. I can breath through my nose fine but am a big mouth breather and suffer a lot of aerophagia w/out tape. But according to the iPhone app ‘Sleep Cycle’ which records skeep sounds and records sleep talking, snoring, etc. I had 70 nasal ...

Lumis 150 VPAP ST BiLevel Settings for Persistent Flow Limitation/UARS

Hey everyone, I have been using CPAP for 4 months now with AHI < 1 for most nights, trying different pressure ranges (above 11-12 I get aerophagia) and EPR settings (0-3) but still tired af and brain fog during the day. I was suspecting UARS and after much effort I convinced my doctor to try ...

Re: Months on CPAP and still struggling with aerophagia issues

I have been doing Myofunctional therapy for my tongue posture, jaw strength, and lip seal. It has already helped after only 1 week. I am doing exercises every day. I have also been doing the Einstein Method, which is gradual tongue strengthening over a 4-month period. Anyone find that tongue exercis...

Getting stuck with UARS settings!

... what's next? I've visibly seen my higher IPAP smooth out my waveform but for the life of me I'm already up to 14 and it's starting to get funky, aerophagia and obvious CA's from the large pressure support (though I've hesitant to raise EPAP up as it seems to cover all my OA's and I struggle exhaling ...

Are you asking me or telling me?

Not enough info, but IMO-WAG anything relating to xPAP is fine, it's your sleep that's AFU.

Post any available sleep studies you have.
