... to have had the eye doctor check it out. Maybe another theory is allergic inflammation to whatever in the machine. The other thing I did was start cleaning my hose and mask a little more often, but I really think it was the mask edge compression.

If distilled water is used, no lime/scale will build up at all. Your choice. White vinegar is your friend when cleaning lime/scale from either your coffee maker or your CPAP water reservoir. A 50/50 mix is what's needed for the coffee maker, been doing this for years. White vinegar ...
