Re: FFM ? not wide enough - bottom axis triangle
I had the same problem with the Airfit F10 so I went to a large and it helped by shifting it downwards a bit. I also tried a mask stabilizer from Pad A Cheek and that's worked really well for me.

Re: What are small periodic blips in SleepyHead?
I also thought that they are likely my "tiny breaths". But they are always the same during countless gaps, every night. They are identical in amplitude, shape, duration and rate. And they are spaced and shaped differently than my normal breaths. Could it be the machine "noise" coupling or something...

Re: question about the cost of bipaps and cpap machines
I was just wondering why are bipap machines more expensive then cpap machines is it because the bipap machine can do more then a cpap machine I looked at the price of the bipap machine that I am gong to be getting in 12 days and it is $4,500 dollars that my insurance will have to pay. that's crazy ...

Re: Orthodontics can cause sleep apnea - Class Action Lawsuit
Doesn't look like there's any record of any class actions being filed. One personal case in New Jersey that was dismissed on procedural grounds. It would be tough enough due to time but a class action would be really difficult due to a lack of commonality between members of the class. The various or...

The amount that your insurance allows will be far less than $900...(Probably about $600)Your 20% is based on the lower amount that the insurance allows. What I usually run across is that the provider already knows what they're going to get and they tell me what the co-pay will be on that amount. $9...

SleepyHead and the 960 don't always play nice together.
Thanks.

Re: Distilled Water for Humidifier
Maybe I'm missing something, but if you have distilled water in the closed tank, and no sign of pink anything, why dump it out just to replace it with more distilled water? The time you have the tank open to do that can introduce trouble you otherwise would not have had. Since it's not a closed sys...

I am using a Respironics AutoSV Advanced. Last night the Sleepyhead report looked weird. There was a three hour block that showed purple-a major leak. None of the other graphs showed anything out of the ordinary, including the leak graph- pretty much even all night. The time over red line was 0% and...

Re: Distilled Water for Humidifier
I've been using my humidifier for a few months and I only use distilled water. I top it off once then I dump it out and let it air dry. No weekly cleaning and so far I can't detect any residue or film in the tank.

Respironics AutoSV Advanced- can it be silenced?
Does anyone know if the startup, shutoff and menu selection tones for the AutoSV can be silenced? The alarm beeps are off but the menu sounds are pretty loud. I'd like to get them off so they don't disturb my wife when I come to bed after she's asleep.

Okay, so I am not a registered user...I just searched "is it okay to spray cpap with lysol" I am talking about the spray disinfectant. Re: changing pressure
I have had a cpap machine for about 2 months. I've lost almost 40 lbs, now my pressure seems too high. Does my weight loss cause the pressure to be too high? It might not be doing anything. Why do you think the pressure is too high? Is it becoming uncomfortable? What equipment do you have and do yo...
