After 8 months on Bi-Pap feeling tired again.

Post by Sleepyv » Fri Sep 02, 2016 9:50 am

I have been on Bi-pap for 8 months. It was hard for about 3 months. Then I was feeling better. The last month seems like I'm back to feeling very tired again? Can't figure out why. My AHI is good and I'm sleeping 5-8 hours with my Bi-pap. Anyone have this problem?

That's where to download free Sleepyhead software that you'll post on Imgur.com and leave a link to it in this thread. Without being able to see what goes on overnight, it's hard to advise meaningfully.

Do you take any meds of any kind? If so, what and if so did dosage change?

How to use imgur for hosting the report images if you want forum member input.

How to organize the graphs...we don't need all that SleepyHead offers

there's 3 pages...read all three first

And which is more common the 5 hours (which isn't enough) or the 8 hours?
SleepyHead will give you an overall average.

Also, are you waking up very often during whatever hours you are using the machine and do you ever sleep without it?

Have you done all the maintenance on the machine. After eight months (really sooner) you should change the mask. Ditto for the filters. You must also check the hose for leakage.
