... Please include the EPR and ramp settings. I asked my sleep doc about it and he didn't have much to suggest except, "Maybe you should look into Inspire." What a creep.

Airmini not working as well (as it did, or as my Airsense )

... snore as I'm falling asleep with the Airmini. I asked my sleep doc about it and he didn't have much to suggest except, "Maybe you should look into Inspire." I'm not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts on what might be going on? Any troubleshooting steps I can take? Thank you!

Acupuncture and Moderate Sleep Apnea

After 3 CPAP masks and almost 90 days, I realized that CPAP is not the best option for my moderate sleep apnea. I am reluctant to try Inspire, although some people really like it. Has anyone tried acupuncture? If so, has it helped? Did you try CPAP first? Any other recommendations for those ...

Re: My personal experience with Inspire for Sleep Apneas

I am writing this in order to prevent you from going to the same experience I went to. Probably, for some people Inspire is a solution, despite all the pains that the surgery incites, but it would be nice to have more information before you decide this is a good solution for you. ...

Re: My personal experience with Inspire for Sleep Apneas

I read general anesthesia isn’t recommended with sleep apnea. It's common to use general anesthesia on people with sleep apnea. The anesthesiologist should be made aware, and she will make sure you breathe steadily. That's a big part of their job with every patient. Anesthesiologists are often the ...

I was an early adopter...the device was implanted in my right breast in July 2020.
The device has been in use since 2014. I would have thought by 2020 the surgeons would have mastered their techniques. Sounds like your surgeon was new to the procedure. Practicing medicine.

My experience with cpap was horrible. I went through 5 masks and could not wear it for more thann2 hours without not being able to breath.
This sounds like your CPAP system had never been set up properly. Too bad you didn't find this support group then.

BTW, how did you find cpaptalk.com?
