My doctor recommended a CPAP, and I have Cigna Insurance (which usees CareCentrix).
Anyone have an in-network provider they are happy with?
I want to make sure I get the best device/service possible. Is there anything specific I should ask the doctor to write on the prescription?
Thanks
Eibwen

I have mild sleep apnea. I'm going to see my doctor again soon to get the prescription and ask questions.

Obstructive, central or complex? 90+% of cases are obstructive.Eibwen wrote:I have mild sleep apnea.

Hello Eibwen, and welcome. This is an awesome resource place to ask questions and seek advice, tips and general help. You will find that you are in control of your sleep therapy.
I too have cigna and carecentrex, however, I am in Vegas, so not much help in the NYC area. However, i did find that you will need some patience with carecentrix, while they were helpful, in sourcing out a local DME for me, it took some long hold times to speak with a rep there. Carecentrix has a department called SMS (sleep management system). Once they get a prescription from your doctor, they get the approval from Cigna, and then source to a DME.
