Here is a link to some general hints. wiki/index.php/Aerophagia
Also a soft cervical collar will help to keep your airway in a neutral position and decrease the air going to your stomach.

Re: Blowting
I have had gas so bad that I was tempted to consult a veterinarian.
{{{In severe cases, they punch a cannula into the gas pocket, and the cow has instant relief.}}}
This was before cpap, and it turned out to be my gall bladder.

Re: Blowting
She has a bipap so has PS but not EPR. Last I saw she reported settings of 12 and 8. Sleepyv are your settings still 12 IPAP and 8 EPAP? If you continue to have problems and the above suggestions do not help a small pressure decrease may help but we need to know what your events look like. Have you downloaded Sleepyhead yet? Can you post an image? This site will help you with posting images. There are 3 pages so be sure and click on the next one at the bottom of each page. https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead/shorganizeherefishy wrote:You might raising your EPR.

Since you have been on the hose since 2014, I am very serious you should have your doctor check your gall bladder.Sleepyv wrote:I am experiencing bloating. Just started and painful. I changed mask and noticed it. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it.
--especially if you have been taking HRT (estrogen). Long time use of HRT has been linked to gall bladder disease.

Downloaded Sleepyhead but have to get an SD card for it. Then what do I do? Get the card and take a screen shot? How do I post it on here?OkyDoky wrote:She has a bipap so has PS but not EPR. Re: Blowting
Most machines come with an SD card in them. If you have a modem pop it off and look behind it. When you get your SD card put it in the machine and let it write to the card. It's always a good idea when you remove the card to slide the lock to lock before you put it in your computer and the remember to unlock before you put it back in your machine. Then you take the SD card to the computer with Sleepyhead and open on it and put the card in the SD slot. Most computers have this built in but if yours does not you can buy a USB SD Card reader cheap. Sleepyhead on its first page has a picture of an SD card and says CPAP importer. Just click on that and it will read the card.Sleepyv wrote:This site will help you with posting images.
