Sorry, I did not take any pictures. There is a video on youtube from the same channel as linked above. It's a little finicky to get apart and back together, but nothing would need to be modified to get the foam out, unlike the dreamstation.

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
Maybe this should be a new thread, but I have a System One, in fact I'm on about my third System One. I tried to order an Airsense 10, but it was out of stock, maybe I'll try some other sources. I dissassembled my old System One, and got to the offending foam, which sits in the bottom. You can reass...

Re: CPAP humidifier question
It depends on the ambient humidity level and can be severely affected by leaks. Assuming you dont want to be disturbed to refill the tank, lower the humidity level and work on reducing leaks. You could also run a humidifier in the bedroom to raise the ambient humidity so the CPAP doesnt have to work...

Re: O2 drop with CPAP
The drops in o2 saturation do not look like "loss of contact" events to me. Also interesting that your pulse rate doesnt show anything. Im afraid i dont know how to interpret them, but a good question for your doctor. Thanks for posting the graphs.

Re: O2 drop with CPAP
Can you expand the graph of o2 sat and heart rate? It would be interesting to see a minute or so around one of the dropouts.

Re: New, Severe, Really Concerned
Chest feels odd but figure it’s anxiety / new to cpap. That can happen. You are using your breathing muscles slightly differently. Instead of working to breath in, you are working a little harder to breath out. Yiur muscles will develop and you will stop feeling it. I have experienced the arousal o...

Re: Back up power
I assembled a battery box with battery terminals and a 12v cigarette lighter outlet with a couple USB outlets. Power is quite reliable here, so rather than buy an expensive, dedicated deep cycle battery and a dedicated battery tender, i figure i will harvest the battery out of my spare truck if i ne...

Re: Unsure about CPAP
Exactly what type of machine you need will be determined by the titration, unless the doctor happens to know now based on the sleep study. I had an at-home sleep study and an APAP machine was ordered. As opposed to a straight CPAP, an APAP will adjust while you sleep to what you need. It depends on ...

Re: Air Filter! Why? Do I need it? If so wheres the proof?
It looks like your CPAP uses different filters than mine, but mine uses a small foam block that i can wash out, and optionally an additional white pollen filter. Mostly, it keeps dust and (cat) hair out of the machine where it can foul the blower. Probably a good investment to protect your machine. ...

Re: Battery backup causes Dreamstation power problem?
So you tried a second power cord and got the same error? Sounds to me like an issue with the machine itself then. If the second power cord is not intended for the machine, i would say its the power cords.

For some reason, I'm not seeing my last couple posts. I did finally succeed in building the final SleepyHead version. Thanks for the help!

It may be dead, and i'm glad OSCAR is moving forward. Notice i said "building", not installing or running. I am a software engineer, and i have taken on the challenge of compiling and building it myself, mostly just as a challenge, but also to keep it viable (probably just for me) in case it stops ...

Can anyone help building SleepyHead?
I know SleepyHead is more or less evolving to OSCAR, but since it has been meeting my needs, and I don't want it to disappear, I am attempting to get it building on my Windows 10 computer. I've got it compiling, but it doesn't link, there are some unresolved references. I could use a clue if anyone'...
