New Price!

Sale -

$14.99 6ft covers
$4.99 for smaller hoses/mask hoses

Free Shipping!!

*Ton's of diff color combos, super soft, Hand Knitted, Machine Washable! I think way better then the fleece type ones you see all over.
Not just to keep the air a tad warmer, less rain-out, and is less "medically" as it feels better if the hose touches your body vs a plain uncovered hose.

I thought I would share these with the forum group. I am able to make Any Length, Any Yarn type etc.

I am currently making a website to sell these, Amazon Handmade, Etsy's and also connecting with a few cpap .com companies to have them sold there. I just figured I would offer some up to group members here as well. I love this group, its helped me in so many ways!

All of the below colors are avail in any length - 6ft,8ft,10, 12 etc... I can also make any of the below in the 18 inch smaller hose size for masks like airfit p10 etc.....

Even thought I have a ClimateLine heated tube - I have found that these covers are great as they feel nice if rubbed up against and also make no noise against the table etc and are in my opinion are a step above the fleece style covers you see all around.

As a fanatic knitter I say those look good!

No lace weight silk? Hand dyed alpaca/merino sock yarn?

Lol Thanks!

Well being a rookie so to speak, I havent really worked with higher end yarns.

what are some good website for yarn might I ask?

I could make one out of that, looking into the prices it would be like $44 in yarn Lol.

As I have come to find out, I need like bulky, jumbo etc or I find myself needing to double up etc the smaller diamiater threads so its not so "airy" looking.

Guess I over priced the hose covers as I am just trying to figure everything out.

I am going to offer them at $ 19.99 thats with shipping.

I know there are tons of "fleece" snuggie type covers out there, but these are knitted, are baby blanket soft and I belive do a much better job then fabric ones.

Thanks in Advance!
Eric

I order most of my "exotic " yarns on ebay - looking for deals.

The yarns you have chosen are probably best for the job. Less allergy possibilities then wool. I do use those kinds of yarn too when knitting for the family because we all have wool allergies.

Are you on Ravelry.com ? If not go and join. there is a ton of information on there both on yarns, suppliers, and how tos for production. And lots of groups on highly specialized knitting/issue. ( there is even a group for knitters with sleep apnea but it is kind of quiet)

That price is pretty low... for the labor involved and the material costs it's hard to see how you or anybody could make money. But then I'm not going to tell you how to run your cottage industry. They do look nice tho.

I have not been to that site, thanks for that info will check it out!

And yes not much profit in it for sure, It's more for fun and to help out some others currently till we figure out how it scales etc with increased volume etc....

I ALWAYS use a hose cover but have a couple questions....

How easy are they to put on and remove? We wash hoses once a month.

What about washing them? I actually have 2 regular cozies that I rotate. I throw the dirty one in a laundry bag (has velcro at each end) and wash it with my next load of laundry. Can I do that with one of these?

I also wash my personal hose cover, same as what you see here. I too use one of those mesh type laundry bags. They come out the same as new actually have had no issues. They are easy to put on actually, easier then the type u mention.
