Wishing you a speedy recovery. You never get any rest in the hospital. For some weird reason they have to draw blood during the night and take your vital signs and they can't do that at the same time. They have to spread it out so you can't get to sleep more than a few minutes at a time.

I have been wondering if you were staying away because you were mad and fed up with the troll types on here. WELCOME HOME BUDDY!!!!!!

PS........ I have the same kidney problem, but not as bad as you..... yet. I've been to see too many specialists lately trying to figure out why my kidneys are out of wack and not doing the job that they were intended to do. I don't think I have enough pee left in me for them to test :lol

Cheers and.....MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Nan

Glad you're back Palerider. This place wouldn't quite seem the same without you!

Your experience with CPAP in the hospital got me to thinking what kind of message I might tape to the top of my blower just in case it gets pressed into use on my behalf by others. Something along the lines of:

"Pressure = 7-12, Aflex = 2, Humidity = 2", and the all important
"DO NOT MOVE WITH HUMIDIFIER TANK INSTALLED !" , and
"IF YOU DON'T KNOW, ASK THE PATIENT - he is the resident expert".

Maybe even tape a copy of my Rx to the side of the machine!

Such instructions might be useful for my wife, too, just in case.

Man, I hope I can fit all that on the top of the blower in a font that's still big enough to read!

Again, Welcome back Palerider! Let's hope you're on you feet in no time and feeling fit enough to welcome the New Year in style!

I am really glad you survived the hospital.
My brother in law, who I have been trying to care for, wasn't so lucky. After a week in the hospital being pumped full of antibiotics and who knows what else, even their non invasive ventilator couldn't keep him breathing. Talk about a monster PAP machine. He passed the day after thanksgiving. At least now he is at peace.
