Hello Everyone,
I try to keep extra parts on hand when the sleep company that supplies me doesn't send me the replacement parts on time etc. I was wondering what online retailers etc that you guys can recommend that has good prices, reliable, parts that have the manufacturer retail packaging and etc. to purchase from.
Anybody from the Chicagoland area that knows of any brick and mortar places to recommend please do!
The mask I am currently using is the Phillips Respironics Dreamwear Mask small frame and small cushion.
Thank you very much!
Best online places etc to buy your parts like Dreamwear etc.

Are you wanting to use your insurance in lieu of payment out of your own pocket?
That's what it sounds like to me but wanted to make sure.
You can find replacement parts at cpap.com or other various online sources if you are willing to keep your insurance out of it and pay for things yourself but if you are wanting to use insurance then you have to find out who your insurance wants to deal with and work with whomever your insurance will work with.
Depending on insurance plan and deductibles and co pays....sometimes it's still less costly to pay for it out of pocket and not mess with insurance...not to mention the "no hassle" factor.

I've obtained masks, hoses, etc. from CPAP.com, ebay sellers and my DME supplier (Sleepmed Inc.) The least expensive source for me was ebay, most of the time. CPAP.com sometimes has sales and free shipping offers that can make a difference in your costs.

If you are on Medicare, you may use my link (below), add your zip code, and go from there.
Private insurance may work with some of these, but you need to talk to your insurer.

Thank you Pugsy for your time and assistance. No! I have no choice because the company I am using right now Apria Healthcare, which is probably the worst company on the planet, they never send me my equipment on time and this round I had to wait about 6 weeks to get some supplies and had to use my cushions past the replacement time. They are horrible. I need to make sure until I find another supplier that I will have supplies on hand for emergency.Pugsy wrote:Are you wanting to use your insurance in lieu of payment out of your own pocket? Online retailers like cpap.com, how do we know for sure that they don't tamper with the product. I did order one with them and it came in a packing that somebody can open easily. Like a zip lock bag. I do have medicare and spoke with them exactly what you mentioned about. I have to research a whole bunch of new companies. It is going to take some time to pick one. Yikes!Pugsy wrote:You can find replacement parts at cpap.com or other various online sources if you are willing to keep your insurance out of it and pay for things yourself but if you are wanting to use insurance then you have to find out who your insurance wants to deal with and work with whomever your insurance will work with.

Thank you Gasper62 for your time and info. Are you satisfied with Sleepmed? Have you had any problems like what I explained above with Pugsy? Did you take your sleep study with them? If so, what was the experience like?Gasper62 wrote:I've obtained masks, hoses, etc. from CPAP.com, ebay sellers and my DME supplier (Sleepmed Inc.)
