Re: PR Dreamstation WiFi modem
Paul, I can't find any information one way or another in my searching. In fact, PR has yet to publish much of anything related to the DreamStation online. You may want to inquire via their email address or toll-free number: healthcare@philips.com North American phone # for PR Healthcare: (800) 285-5...

Re: Bipap
Whereas CPAP has one single pressure, a BiPap uses two pressures (hence the "bi"): the inhalation pressure (IPAP) & the exhalation pressure (EPAP). A BiPap is often used for patients who need a high level of pressure, and/or have additional health considerations like congestive heart failure or othe...

Re: Second sleep study
Is there a reason you're having your study at home rather than in a professional setting (i.e. a sleep clinic or hospital)?

Re: Bringing or Obtaining Distilled Water on a Cruise?
My best tip - check out TravelZoo.com (and even sign up for their weekly email). They are a very reputable outfit and have some outrageously cheap deals.Sheriff Buford wrote:Really?... that many?... I gotta talk my wife into a cruise... she has no interest. Any suggestions?

Re: please recommend a new mask for me
Hi bbacher, The ResMed AirFit P10 is the most popular nasal pillow mask on this forum. I highly recommend it. It's the next generation of the Swift FX. Having said that, the new Philips Respironics DreamWear mask is brand new on the market - keep reading this forum to see how people like it. But, if...

Re: CPAP Dependency
I've been using the C-PAP every night for 3 years. I feel like I am not only addicted (can't sleep without it) but am short of breath during the day when I don't use . Almost as if I rely on positive pressure of air blowing in. DO others feel this way? Why on earth would you NOT use it? . By "when ...

Re: My story; something I learned
That bigger lesson is that you were diagnosed with anxiety or depression and prescribed an SSRI. The proper diagnosis would have been OSA including sleep deprivation. With all due respect, I disagree with any of us attempting to diagnose anyone. As he states, he had anxiety even after xPAP therapy....

Re: Sleep without machine
No one will tell you it is safe, simply because as soon as someone says, "Sure! Go ahead, you'll be fine!" will be the night that something terrible happens.
Having said that, most of us have gone without our CPAP for one or more nights, due to a variety of reasons. Proceed at your own risk.
