Question about sleepyhead

Post by Ricochet » Tue Nov 24, 2015 8:31 pm

They are going to try and fit me in in the next week or so for another dr appt. He also said that I might have to have another sleep study to see why Im having so many centrals. I asked if I could bring my sleephead reports for the dr to see. My question is is there any way for me to bring my data from sleepyhead the they can look at by mouse like I can see it or do I just have to bring in the screen shots?

They did say I could bring in my data on a flash drive. That way I can bring in all of my data

Thanks Guys and girls

They may not be familiar with SleepyHead but I would take my laptop (if you have SH on it) and also print out 2 or 3 daily detailed reports so they can stick them on your chart if they want to.
Plus I would also take the SD card from the machine just in case they want to use their own software which may be what they are used to looking at.
Cover all your bases this way.

Watch out for invincible ignorance. The medical mafia tends to reject any data other than $leep $tudie$. They even tend to reject information from the manufacturer's own data analysis programs.

However, go in with a positive attitude. You might be lucky and your doc might be one of the good ones. You might even educate him about SleepyHead. And I might win the lottery.

You might want to download ResScan to prepare reports for your medical team. It shows the same information as SleepyHead (but not as user friendly) and most sleep professionals are familiar with it. Some tend to discount SleepyHead since, generally, they are not familiar with it.
ResScan only works with Windows and ResMed Machines. You can get it by following the links in Archangle's signature above.
