Headgear

Post by Greg Riddle » Wed Nov 18, 2015 8:36 pm

Received a chin strap today and cut it up. Sewed it together to make mask headgear for my quattro FX test time
The wide chin strap feels very nice on the back of my head and neck

Leak rate was cut in half last night. Mask felt very stable and strap was very comfortable. It's a little awkward to get on

Can you please give more detail - pattern/chin strap brand/assembly steps etc. I have a hard time with my Respironics head gear sliding around because it is a bit big, even though I have the small size. This sounds like it might help and I can't quite visualize it from your image. THANK YOU!

I'll post the part number of the strap later.

But all I did was cut the strap in half. Cut the two support straps the come with the chin strap in half and sewed the support strap halves to the big strap. I'll lay ur flat and take another pic

I took a pair of scissors and split the strap in half. The top and bottom straps where not independent enough.
