Loving my setup
Loving my setup
Yes, this is a bit cheesy, and I think my previous posts have overdone the cheese a bit....However, as someone with a severely deviated septum and a nose that LOVES to misbehave when seasons change...I LOVE putting on that mask at night. Yes, it drives me nuts when my nose is clogged...yes, as a new user the mask is hard to get used to and it leaves marks in my face....but it's a nice breath of fresh air when I put it on. I've been breathing through my mouth for the majority of each day for my whole life, but since I got my machine (DS960HS) and this mask (Wisp)...it's been awesome. Feeling that nice, wonderful air coming through my nose has been amazing. DME told me the insurance won't complain if i can't make 4 hours a night for the first month since it'll take time to get used to, who are they kiddding? I've been doing 9 and a half since day one!

Re: Loving my setup
Hi,
Congrats on your good news and great attitude!
I, too, have a deviated septum and am happy to have the air blowing in my face all night. I have noticed that I am a lot less stuffed up since beginning therapy and am hoping that leads to a lot less sinus issues (followed by bronchitis) this winter.
Best wishes and thanks for sharing.

Betam4x,
Congrats.
I am sure you will figure out the minor issues. Right now your body is just gorging on sleep.
For allergie, nothing like breathing air through a filter .
