Help with climate control on S9 Autoset

Post by PEF » Sat Oct 03, 2015 8:49 am

Hi Everyone,

I am just getting started and am learning to use my machine, love the machine. Very user friendly. (Since I have seriously unsolvable problems with the Sleepweaver ANEW face mask, I can only test by removing the headgear and holding the mask to my face with both hands. Even then, I only get a leak free fit for a few minutes at most. I am going to do a review of this mask later on.)

Anyway, I have a question about the climate control display. I live in a very HOT and HUMID climate (Panama, Central America). The temperature here lately during the day is in the low 90´s and nights in the mid 80s. I noticed that the display constantly says ¨COOLING DOWN¨. So I set the temperature to 86, as high as it would go, but it still says ¨COOLING DOWN¨¨. Is this a problem for the machine. I read in the users guide that the machine, if left in a very hot place can have problems and display error messages. I have not seen any error messages on any screens. Does anyone know at what temperature the ambient temperature is TOO HOT. We don´t use air conditioning except at night because of the high cost.

It's not so much that it is actually cooling down as it is the machine continues to blow air at a low volume to dry out the hose.
Nothing is wrong with the machine. It's just doing what it is programmed to do to dry out things.
