Re: Newbie here- need help

So for the first time last night I remember why I took the CPAP off. I felt like I was choking/gasping for air and that woke me up so I took it off. Not sure if this is what happens every night, but I distinctly remember this last night. Any thoughts on what this could mean?

Thanks.

Re: Newbie here- need help

So just wanted to post update. Got a hose buddy- didn't like it. I'd rather just tuck the tubing behind my pillow in the bs k of the bed. Still can't sleep longer than 4 hrs with the P10. I am able to fall asleep with it on but all I know is I wake up in the morning and find that I've taken it off a...

Re: Sores & blisters from AirFit P10 For Her Nasal Pillow Mask

I'm a female and I use the regular Airmask P10, not the one for her. It's got a blue and gray mask strap on the back. I have stretched this one out too over several months bc a lot of times I have my hair tied up in the back w a ponytail. Maybe the headgear on the for her mask is too tight for you a...

Re: Newbie here- need help

I just wanted to make sure that you weren't starting out at 4 cm by accident somehow unless you wanted to. Since that setting is grayed out it doesn't apply and isn't part of your settings. Just wanted to clarify it in case someone new saw the mention and was thinking that you were indeed starting ...

Min pressure: 9
Max Ramp: off

Re: Newbie here- need help

You might also consider trying a little tape over the straps on your cheeks so that the slight discomfort associated with the tape being pulling off the skin might wake you up enough so you can stop the unwanted "removing the mask in my sleep and not realizing it". That's an idea. Thanks. Can anyon...

Re: Newbie here- need help

Do you have a hose hanger so the hose comes down from above instead if snaking over the edge of the bed. Works for turning over. I sleep on my stomach on and off every night. I like to sleep on the edge of the pillow, a standard one for me, and let the mask hang over the edge. The straps support it...

Re: Newbie here- need help

I find myself sleeping on my stomach all the time. Some masks are more of a challenge in finding a workable head/neck/bed pillow position than others but that doesn't mean it can't be done. You can sleep in any position with any mask if you want to but it may take some work to figure out how to get...

Thanks Ricci, I'm beginning to think the same thing. It's very frustrating.
