Zantac; et.al in this category

Hi Just wondering if anyone is like me. I forgot my Zantac (ranitidine) before bed last night and woke up with bad cpap gas. I had reduced my pressure about 2 weeks ago and it eliminated most of it - but also took my ranitidine - and like I said, last night I forgot it and now I'm feeling pretty bloated and burpy. Do any of you have to take it before bedtime?

Zantac is for stomach acid....I don't think not using it would cause gas. Any product with simethicone (Gas X) should help with the gas.

Agree, Zantac for acid...
You can take a small portion(I think 1/2 tsp baking soda dissolved in glass water) this will relieve you of the bloated, gassy feeling. Wife does it all the time and she hasn't blown up yet.

Not a good idea for those adults on salt restricted diets, like myself. Too much sodium in sodium bicarbonate. Here's a writeup on low sodium alternatives:

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Well your probably right SirN, my wife only uses it maybe 2x a month, she doesn't have a problem with salt though, just know it works for her...

Go up to the Search line and do a forum search on "aerophagia", "GERD", "acid reflux" and related subjects.
If you can sleep on your side, try sleeping on your left side. That will put your stomach opening to the top side and may help reduce the bloating. Depending on what machine settings you're using, It also may help to change some of them. Some using ranges of pressure may do better with straight pressure and some using straight pressure may do better with a range. Exhale relief (EPR and Flex) can also make differences.
