Last nights sleep

Post by CaptainRaven40 » Fri Sep 04, 2015 7:29 am

So I changed my pressure last night to a range of 12-20. I was prescribed a flat 12 to begin with then 5-20 and I posted on here and got some advice and decided to try the 12-20 to begin with. Last night was a good night sleep. I had a couple of major mask leaks and I have a chin strap on order to help with this. Other than that sleepyhead is reporting one OA event and it was a false. I was rolling over and turning the machine off and for some reason I held my breath and it read it as an OA. I didn't know it would do that. So that means the machine did fantastic last night and the range seemed to work well. I know it was only one night, but a night with no events other than a couple of mask leaks and not really any wake ups is a great night!

I just wanted to share the great night I had. Hope everyone else is having a good go with their therapy. If not hang in there!! Cheers!

3rd post this am - no mention of OSA/Cpap - I just haven't deleted because she registered, but maybe someone braver will.

Julie, it could be I am totally missing something due to a ------&^^^ mask leak severely disturbing my sleep last night but I am unclear as to why you want this post deleted. Can you clarify?

Thanks!

When 3 posts from a total newbie with no mention at all of OSA come in 1st thing in the a.m. I smell spam, so while I would normally just hit delete, I didn't because they registered and on the off chance they're legit, I left the notes, but really doubt they have any interest in this forum.

When I see those type of things I usually think a teenager or kid having some fun in the middle of the night.
Or what I call a "fly by nighter"...just making chit chat for no reason other than to make comments.
They don't usually take the time to register though.

Some of the language oddities point to a possible offshore poster, using a translation program;
possibly getting ready to SELL something. {{{worthless}}}
Wonder what it will be? Knockoff purses, shoes, luggage, electronics?
