How to change pressure on Transcend Mini

Post by sanger » Wed Sep 02, 2015 8:03 pm

I just bought a Transcend EZEX for travel and am travelling with it for the first time. I've discovered now that I am away and using it that the supplier set the pressure to 6 where I use a pressure of 8 on my ResMed at home. I'm find that I'm feeling rather crappy with the lower pressure and need to get it back up to 8. My clinic wants me to bring it back in to be reprogrammed but I am away for another 12 days. I see from older posts that there is software for setting the pressure settings but I can't find anywhere on the Somnetics site to download it. If anyone knows where to get the software I would be grateful.

I don't know if any of the information here at this website will help or not. Have you seen this?
http://www.mytranscend.com/support/
There is a video as well as a software download prompt on the page.
My internet connection sucks at the moments and I couldn't get anything to load...so don't know if it is them or me.

The software and the clinician's manual are at the link that Pugsy gave. You will need to enter the password juniper to unlock clinician mode. Be aware that the software is only compatible with Windows 7 and XP.

The password is needed on the machine or to download the manual, etc.?

Apparently software is needed to connect to the machine (probably some sort of cable involved) and the password is for the software so it can communicate with the machine and make the desired changes.

Yes, this is true you need to hook up to a PC with a USB cable. Once you have the software select Clinician to set the pressure. I also have the Transcend EZEX CPAP and it is inconvenient but once it's set no need to hook up to a PC. That's unless you want to monitor your stats every morning. I bought the unit for travel so it's not a big deal for me.
