Sleepwiggler Got Run Over

Post by sleepwiggler » Mon Aug 31, 2015 5:58 pm

Dang, I feel like I was hit by a train. Woke up this am same as usual tired. I tossed and turned all night. I finally got in my grove about mid day but then the stress of the day started taking a toll and as they say stick a fork in me I am done. I think I am gonna to bed an hour earlier.

Call your doctor if you have any difficulty breathing.
One of the latest bugs going around can hit just like that.
If you go to the docs, grab a mask before you sit down.
They might hurry a little.

Thanks but this is just plain old Monday kicked my behind. Along with trying to get my mask just right and all the running around from the weekend and dealing with logistics, training people, production planning, and people fussing or should I say whining about changes I had to put in place. Two more days of work for me this week then I am relaxing.

It's good you can assess the situation and vent about it a bit. It shows you still have some perspective about life.

Enjoy your days off!

@LAST I did not mean for that to sound like a complaint. More of just venting. Believe me I am thankful for job and I work for a great company. My bosses really care about the employee and they show it. I feel for those who have lost their job and I know I would be in bad shape without it. There are times when everyone needs to vent regardless of how well or bad they have it.
thank you though for reminding me that it could always be worse. Sometimes we loose sight of that and need a little reminder.

Don't let LSAT guilt you. Even if you do complain about your job, you have done nothing wrong.

Think about someone complaining about a dangerous crosswalk at the local high school. LSAT could say, "Don't complain, in Iraq, school in rubble, IEDs, ISIS, land mines, no water, blah, blah, blah."

That some two people, somewhere, have bigger problems, is no reason to fail to point out our own problems and try to make improvements.

We hear of a "first world whinge", where we complain about our tech toys acting up, etc.
--all while people across the world are ducking bullets and starving.
But this is where we are. Everything in perspective.
Some people live to share their own guilt, but we can only do so much.
The problems of the world need not paralyze us from doing the best we can for ourselves and those near us.
Charity begins at HOME. It's OK to gripe about little things that bug us, even healthy.

+1

The better we make our USA, the more chance we have to help others.

Besides, prosperity tends to spread and in this day of communication, education spreads quickly also.

The most suffering in this world is in countries with bad governments/rulers. Let's make our country even better as a model for what others can strive toward.

Did you check your therapy data with SleepyHead? Maybe there are some clues there.

You might have even been visited by Pugsy's aliens.
