I've got two lightly used ones if you'd like to buy a spare or two . This mask did not work well for me.

Gteat mask! It's light-weight, you can boil the cushion and get more "life" out of it.... then you can replace it when it wears out (you don't have to replace the mask... just the cushion). Hope it becomes "your" mask.

Okay Sheriff I am confused again, I couldn't remove the cushion and the DME told me you can't remove the cushion on this one.

Are you talking about the ResMed AirFit F10?
If so, the cushion is indeed removable and in fact AirFit F10 cushion and the Quattro Air cushion happen to be the same cushion..just slightly different frame and headgear.
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... -mask.html
I think there are some videos here that explain how to remove and clean the cushion
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... dgear.html

Now if you are talking about a different mask and not the F10....

But the F10 cushion is indeed removable..for cleaning or just changing the cushion when that one gets tired. No need to buy the entire frame unless something breaks
See the separate parts available
https://www.cpap.com/productpage-replac ... dgear.html
It's even possible to buy each part separately and assemble a full mask from replacement parts.

Thanks Pugsy, I assumed the actual cushion part came off but they consider the cushion to be the whole plastic part with the cushion. I actually have been having a hard time using the CPAP because all of a sudden my claustrophobia kicked in and I kept ripping it off but I was also having problems with the seal. At my three month I decided to try the pillows but didn't have much success so decided to go back and tried the FF again but it really leaks a lot but I will try to get a better clean on it to see if I can get a better seal, sometimes the seal works. Since I got the pillows I have to wait another three months because I can replace the mask. I kind of lost my determination to make this work but have been trying to get it back. I am surprised the DME didn't explain that the "cushion" was the whole plastic piece and not just the soft part.

I guess you and Pugs got it sorted out. The instructions that come with the mask shows how to remove the cushion. It is a little misleading. Early on, when I tried to remove the cushion, I was yanking at the cushion-part with no success. Then after looking at the package, I saw that there is some hard plastic that stays with the cushion. You probably can go online and see the instructions.

Sheriff,

Do you boil your cushion? I thought that the hard plastic part of the cushion would melt if you boiled it. I do boil my QFX cushions, and have always had great results, but have never tried the F10 cushion for fear of ruining it.

Well I guess I am just crazy, watched the video and tried over and over and my cushion will not come apart from the part where it says to squeeze at the bottom and the cushion easily comes apart. Mine won't budge.
