Re: Sleepyhead for Mac OS 10.10?
Thanks, Mark. I'm now successfully running 0.9.5 on my Macbook. My wife's Macbook is still running Mavericks, so I will try the latest version on her computer (we are on vacation at the moment, and her computer is at home). I just wanted to confirm that the latest version is not compatible with OS 1...

Sleepyhead for Mac OS 10.10?
Is there a version of Sleepyhead that works on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite)? It looks like a great program and I will happily make a donation when a version becomes available that I can use.
Many thanks in advance!

Re: CPAP rental -- England
Ha! Good luck with that. They have a nationalized medical care system that is horrible. What experience do you have with the NHS that qualifies you to make that statement? To the OP: Try contacting The London Sleep Centre (http://www.londonsleepcentre.com), they may be able to help or point you in ...

Re: EncoreViewer doesn't see my SD card - XP on Parallels
Devices attached to your Mac can generally only be mounted to (accessible by) the Mac or the Virtual Machine but not both at the same time. So you need to tell Parallels to mount to your SD card reader. In the Devices menu in Parallels under USB make sure there is a check mark next to the card reade...

Re: NEW!!!! PR S1 Pro w/Auto IQ !!!!
This has confirmed my theory that these machines are basically the same apart from firmware.. Oh, I think that is more than theory. They have to be the same hardware or they wouldn't be able to do their base function. No additional hardware is needed to record more data to a SD card. No additional ...

Re: Encore Pro Software - work on MAC?
I run Windows in my Mac using Parallels and was able to load and run Encore Pro without any problems. My problem is quite randomly the system sometimes does not make a connection to the Mako DT3500 card reader. Sometimes it works, but more often it fails to "see" that the device is plugged in. Has a...

Re: Macintosh success with Encore Pro 1.8i
Sorry for dragging up an old post. I treated myself to a new iMac just after Christmas. I’m running Windows XP through Parallels. I can’t get the Mako card reader to maintain a connection with the computer. I got it to work once (it downloaded the data just fine into EncorePro). Now I can’t get it t...

Home Sleep Studies
I'm not sure if these have been mentioned before, but it seems both Resmed and Respironics have new home sleep tests:

In August 2006, I purchased an M Series Auto directly from Respironics in the UK when they first came out here (which was several months after they were released for sale in the US). It has a whine noise that is a bit annoying, but I sleep with a fan on for white noise (I have never been able to sle...

Twilight NP -- Noise
Hi all. Based upon the generally positive reviews, I have just acquired from CPAP.com a Twilight NP. I received it Friday and used it for the first time last night. I found it very comfortable and it seemed to stay sealed very well (I haven't yet attached a pantyhose stabilizer, but will likely do s...

I have seen many threads about bringing an xPAP with you on planes when travelling. My question is this: Has anyone actually used their xPAP on a plane? I travel very frequently and always carry my APAP with me for use at my destination. However, since being diagnosed in June '06, I have avoided lon...

Problem with MyEncore
Apologies if this question has been asked before. When I try to run MyEncore I get an error message that says "Unable to access the EncorePro database". There is also a message in the error pop up box that says, "SQL server does not exist or access denied." Encore Pro (ver. 1.6.22) works fine. Any i...
