Reposting WW2's Post

Post by 49er » Tue Aug 25, 2015 8:12 pm

Since it got deleted, I am reposting what was written. If you think posts you have written have been deleted, hit the reply function in the thread and they will all show up.

Ok, self appointed moderator who thinks they should be able to delete any post with impunity. Go ahead and delete this one and show the forum how gutless you are.

Jay,

WW2 started the thread last night and it was deleted shortly after that. Can't remember exactly how long it took for it to be deleted but it didn't seem to take that long.

So obviously, I can't tell you where since the post was a topic starter and then got deleted.

Thanks for asking.

I don't get the point that you have to re-post someone else's deleted posts...... are they not capable of doing it themselves? None of it was relevant in the first place We are all supposed to be adults here and able to take care of ourselves, if a select few want to keep arguing and bitching .... let them. Maybe the "deleter" will get tired of deleting other folks posts and just delete themselves....... et voila..... no more pain in the ass "deleter" !!!!!
Cheers

Guess you missed a few of my posts yesterday in trying to help a forum member. You're right, you post way more than I do in trying to help members but to say I haven't contributed anything is simply not accurate.

Anyway, all rhetoric aside, I would think as one who has harped constantly about this forum being way too moderated and who has never hesitated to criticize me when you think I am acting as the "evil forum arbiter", I would think that you would be very concerned about posts being deleted even if you have no love lost for the person it is happening to. Because if it happens to someone you can't stand, it certainly can start happening to people you like and it can happen to you.

How come you don't see the contradictions in this? I mean, even if we all are at each other's throats on certain issues, I thought we all agreed the deleting posts that aren't spam, isn't too cool.

but it was, and this complete thread is "SPAM"

This is a sleep disorder forum .... not your private place to spew your words around.

If you don't have something useful to say ........

but I guess with a user name like "WorldWar2" , we all know why you are here ... just to cause trouble!
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

GG,

I thought the only posts that should be considered spam on this forum are ones pushing for unsolicited sales. Otherwise, aren't we treading a slippery slope as any unpopular post can be deleted because someone feels it is spam? Isn't that the ultimate moderated forum which you and others have spoken out against?

My earlier question, "Where?", was where did you repost? I guess you meant the, "Ok, self appointed moderator..."? If so, quotation marks may have helped me understand your post a little better. Some of us aren't as quick as we used to be

No sense deleting when you can simply use the "foe" button.

I started a thread about how to find deleted posts, which was quickly deleted. Apparently, 49er saw that so he/she explained what took place and attempted to repost what I said in the thread.

This is what I consider to be SPAM. It was posted about seven hours ago, and the thread still exists. Luckily, no one has posted in the thread. I don't have a "SPAM" button on my phone, so I can't delete it.
