Developing SleepyHead
Developing SleepyHead
I have compiled SleepyHead on my Kubuntu computer and used that software. First I made translation to finnish. And then I made a suggestion to menu. For example I don't think that language change operation is thing of help. Now I have looked daily reports. The graphs have numeral values bottom of every graphs. The Flow rate have ok test but every values in every graphs are 0.0. I have wondered if it means that I have slept too short time - 3 hours per night.
I search forum, where I can talk SleepyHead development. The irc channel is too sleepy. Is this good place?
SleepyHead is an exellent software. And I need to make that even better!

Re: Developing SleepyHead
I think that in source code level there is one big task to collect one display sentence from several places like display, paper report etc. to one place. So when translator (human) translates the software to other language, one translation affects to every place where it is. So if we make changes to one thing, it affects to every instances of it. And we have no need to know where there are instances of that text.
Re: Developing SleepyHead
Most machines don't consider anything below 4 hrs as being useful, so may not report valid data that SleepyHead can use.

Something is not right. My chart from tonight (< 3 hours so far) shows values for everything).unidee wrote:I have compiled SleepyHead on my Kubuntu computer and used that software. That little sleep a night will not help you get the therapy you need. You should be getting more than 4 hours a night at more than that, closer to 6-8 hours.
SleepyHead development is primarily done by the developer Mark. You should contact him.

I think that here at Sleepfiles, if you want executables. SourceForge is now some kind of broken.Roger2 wrote:Where do I get the latest version of your program?
Re: Developing SleepyHead
I have problems of starting cpap sleeping therapy. But that is not a software development question. Please, don't comment that. I have a hospital session some weeks further and there I can tell to doctors what is wrong.

Re: Developing SleepyHead
My role of developing is mostly user interface. I am not an expert of apnea calculations. I think that if I do something, it would be nice that everybody SleepyHead users benefit of that. And I think that SleepyHead can unfold more.
One point to me: this is exploring to Qt programming and exploring to open source software production, since I have done translations 10 years ago to open source software. This is hobby to me.

jedimark is the person/member you want to contact. As I understand it, health issues are forcing him on a hiatus but somebody else more in the loop would have to address that specifically. Here's another link that may be useful. I found it on member palerider's signature line.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Developing SleepyHead Importint to *ubuntu
When I put the Resmed AirSense 10 sd-card to my *ubuntu computer and I try to import data, the computer doesn't find the directory of data on sd-card. But if I open that sd-card with *ubuntus Dolphin file window and then try to import data with Sleepy Head it finds the directory straight!
Well, I think that SleepyHead can improve it's data searching operation from sd-card.
This is not a fatal bug. I can live with it and no problems after I found the reason why it can't find the data on sd-card.

Re: Developing SleepyHead Importint to *ubuntu
it's more likely that your "*ubuntu computer" isn't automounting the card, therefore, there's nothing for sleepyhead to see.unidee wrote:When I put the Resmed AirSense 10 sd-card to my *ubuntu computer and I try to import data, the computer doesn't find the directory of data on sd-card. I'm using xubuntu, and mine automounts the card, and sleepyhead finds it nearly instantly.
stick your card in and type either df -h or mount in a shell window and see if you see the card mounted, I bet you won't, then browse to it in your file window, and I bet, after that, you will see it mounted. nothing sleepyhead can do about that, it's your OS.
