having trouble exhaling
having trouble exhaling
Having trouble exhaling through my nose with the Swift nasal pillows. I am not a mouth breather and start to feel like I am suffocating when I can't breathe out through my nose. Have gone back to the nasal mask but hate the head gear and would like to use the nasal pillows. Any suggestions????

Are you sure the pillows are the correct size? You may need a larger one maybe.besea wrote:Having trouble exhaling through my nose with the Swift nasal pillows. Morbius, are you bored?

I see in another post that you have a Philips Resprionics machine, but I don't know what type. Go to SETUP and select CFLEX - I started off with a 2, but you can start with a 3 if you want. The slightly lower pressure made exhaling much easier. 1 is the least pressure change.
