Re: P10 mask whistling?

the humidity does nothing to this... I've set it as low as 2 and got the whistle and bloody noses from lack of humidity. The moisture is coming from me. You think the humidifier has no effect on the amount of moisture in your nostrils?? Is the whistle coming from the mask, the hose or the machine?

It's very, very rude. I vote for deleting all posts that use caps inappropriately. But that is just one vote - I don't have moderator privileges.

Re: CPAP USAGE, LONG TERM.

cpap.com pays the bills for this forum Yes, I continue to be amazed at newbies coming here who are totally oblivious to the time, effort and money that cpap.com has to expend to make this forum available. These newbies have an entitlement mentality that is unhealthy for our society. This forum coul...

I could do it. But it is a bad idea for a newbie.

So this forum give out bad advice and the senior members defend that?

This is one of the reasons I don't use the forum very often.

Re: NEWLY diagnosed OSA decisions: CPAP vs Oral device

Ok so I am new to this, haven't even started treatment yet just in the decision making stage trying to decide between CPAP or an oral device. My diagnosis is moderate OSA with an AHI of 16.6 My concerns regarding CPAP are noise and portability first, then comfort a close second. I am a firefighter ...

Re: NEWLY diagnosed OSA decisions: CPAP vs Oral device

I don't know what those that say a "properly adjusted cpap is very quiet" or "a cpap doesn't make any noise" are talking about, they must be heavy sleepers or have damaged hearing *smile*. I wonder if there is something wrong with your machine? I have the same model and was amazed from the first ni...

Re: Honey before bed for good sleep?

I found this today and thought I'd share. I have some organic honey and may try this. It's not appealing to think about swallowing a couple of spoonfuls of straight honey, but it can't hurt. http://eatlocalgrown.com/article/13809-sleep-through-the-night.html No insult intended BleepingBeauty, but I...

Re: Nuvigil anyone?

To be honest, I am concerned you are getting on a med merry go around you may find hard to get off of. If a med is making you tired, using another med to counter side effects may eventually bite you big time. True and scary. BTW, I hope you mean "to be frank". "To be honest" means you have been lyi...
