How to Decrease Resistance in Machine

Post by Enchanter » Fri Jul 03, 2015 5:23 am

Here are 2 pics, which I think are supposed to tell you how to set the machine's resistance. But it doesn't explain it in simple enough words for me to understand.

If you have an idea, let me know. I have fiddled with it for 2 days and it's set at 13. But I can't handle it and want to try something a little lower.

Enchanter,

You're showing pictures of masks. You may have posted this previously but what machine do you have? Or if someone else can post that information, I would appreciate it.

Anyway, I need the name to look up the instructions.

In another thread there was a post where someone listed the steps to change the pressure. That post was followed by someone advising you to print and save those instructions. That's how you change the pressure. Good luck, Earl

Right, but I couldn't make sense out of it. I was wondering if someone could put it into simple words I can understand.

I sent Papit a copy of the manual for Enchanter's machine by email. Maybe he can explain how to decrease the pressure. I know it was easy for me to change it when I received it but I'm me

Follow the instructions that you see here in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-fLD2kq6js
+2 Best and simplest video instruction I've seen for either:

* Using the CPAP mode and setting pressure for example at 11
OR
* Using the AUTO mode and setting pressure for example at a range of 7 (Min) to 11 (Max) as shown in the video. This let's the machine select and change the pressures up and down within those limits as the user sleeps.

Anybody agree or disagree?

Pepit, I disagree, Enchanter may not understand Mr LankyLefty's hesitated talk. Then you'll need to come and explain it much more.
Please explain to him that CPAP pressure is not resistance.

So now that you know the kind of your machine and the mask why don't you fill out your registration?
