As bad as ever.

Post by Noctuary » Wed Jul 01, 2015 10:12 am

I've raised the pressure, lowered the pressure, slept without medication, slept on my side, got a blood panel, take vitamin D everyday; still I only have about two days a month where I feel even somewhat rested and refreshed. At my wits end, am I.

Hmm. I just checked sleepyhead. For the last two night I've only had my mask on for under four hours. Those are both nights that I took 15 mg. of Temazepam. Sunday night when I took 30 I slept with the mask on all night.

I guess I do need a strong sleep aid after all.

Some tape one of the mask straps to their face or hair. Just something to get your attention before the deed is done.

I think the most important determinant for overall restfulness is how long you are able to sleep with CPAP. Of course, 4 hours or so with CPAP is better than without it.

Good news that you made it through an entire night a la 30mg Temazepam!

How were you feeling the next day and please consider posting your SH charts/graphs for Sunday night, 6/28.

Sorry for your state of discomfort.

I've been sleeping with cpap for 13 months now. I feel good about two days a month. Lately though the pressure has been waking me up. I feel today like I slept 1 hour.

People here tell me that I should get off of it. That's why I was experimenting with half doses. But it looks like if I am to sleep more than a few hours I need a strong sedative. Even so, I still will feel bad on my best days. Having to make a major decision here.
