I have enabled all available information that I could find. I have questions that I have asked to the company that supplied my machine. (Aprea). Unfortunately their techs seem to be less informed then me.
Some things are obvious but others are not. I.e. What does it me when you sleep 6 hours and the machine reports less hours, something zero. Is that good or bad? Does it mean I didn't need therapy
That night?
Once in a while I will experience periodic breathing. What is normal? I track my numbers every night. No occurrence for months than one or two in one month. Last night I had 1.6% in 5 hrs sleep
Ahi and pressure are low. Should I be concerned with the occasional PB ?
I am 72 yrs old and exercise 5-6 days a week. 45 min weights and 3.5 miles jog in the hills
No pain or breathing issues.
Concerned about what I read on your forum about PB and possible cardiac issues.
Thanks for your time
Ron

Your question was answered in your first post - stick to one if you can. Once-in-a-while PB is not a big deal.

I seen didn't see an answer in my original post prior to registration. What I receivesd was a request for information about the machine I currently use. It is a REMstar system one -A flex.Julie wrote:Your question was answered in your first post - stick to one if you can. Once-in-a-while PB is not a big deal.
Have you an idea about the therapy hours and sleep hours at times out of sync?
Thank you Julie

Re: Definition of apac machine read out
I'm not sure I understand your question... I mean when I sleep 6 hrs the report is of 6 hrs, but if I check later than noon for results, nothing will show (unless I've e.g. napped for an hour after noon and then looked for results).

Re: Definition of apac machine read out
Intel -- Many machines start a new day at noon. So if you want to look at last night's data but you're checking after 12:00 noon, you'll see zero hours because the machine "thinks" it's a new day. If you're interested you can learn how to use software like SleepyHead to look at all the data your machine records.

Re: Definition of apac machine read out
As I posted earlier. I understand if you check readout after 12:00 noon all previous data is lost.
I am asking how you can have a 6:00am reading that reports zero therapy hours when you have been in bed sleeping from 10:00pm last night to 6:00am the following morning. I hope that question is clear.
Also would like to know if their is an acceptable normal PB standard. Put another way, do most people have some degree of BP occurrence occasionally?
Thanks
Ron
