Encore Viewer running VERY slowly

Anyone else start up EV, get "not responsive" then after :15 it continues? - mike

All the Encore products are notoriously slow but 15 minutes is excessive.
What are your computer specs?
Have you made sure that nothing else is running in the background hogging some of the resources?
