New to the CPAP journey.
New to the CPAP journey.
I am new to the CPAP world. I have been constantly tired for a long time now and snoring so loud per my wife and kids. So much so that most nights I'm on the couch. Hell I haven't slept on the bed for a whole night I would say in about 6 years. Usually sleep a couple hours and then the snoring doesn't let the misses sleep. You know what they say happy wife happy life so I don't even fight it.
Anyways after much debate and think I said what the hell let me go check this out. So I went and got a sleep study. The lady in the morning said the best thing you ever did for your life was get this done. Didnt really understand why at the time. When I went to my doc he told me you must be so tired all the time. I am by the way. He told me my pressure was 14 and that my AI/apnea index was 96. He told me I was the highest he's seen.
I should be getting my machine next week. Hoping that this will change my life as everyone said it will. Hell im just happy to be back in the bed full time..

There is a standing joke here that the medical profession tells every patient that.JonSnow wrote:He told me I was the highest he's seen.
Do you know the importance of getting a data-capable machine and refusing a "brick"? If not, ask someone here to tell you or give you a link to the info.
