Found an interesting article about low carb diets helping with OSA http://paleoleap.com/paleo-sleep-apnea/

Actually one of the better articles I've seen. A lot of writers just don't get that apnea actually can drive weight gain through the damage it does to body systems.

My own experience was that I had a very hard time losing weight before starting therapy. The combination of treatment and low carb diet seems to be working for me, at least in AHI and weight loss terms.

Actually I've found the opposite to be true, it's the drive to McDonald's Drive Thru that fuels the my weight gain. By having untreated sleep apnea, I'd fall asleep on the side of the road, and miss my Egg Mc muffins, creating low blood sugar and weightloss.

I started treating sleep apnea, and haven't missed a Mc Breakfast since. Thanks to my Remstar. Jim
