loosing pressure
loosing pressure
I am traveling and I have not been sleeping well and I noticed I had a sore throat in the morning. What I have figures out is my (1year old) machine is not giving the same pressure as normal. Has anyone else had this happen?

Re: loosing pressure
A DME can check the machine pressure for accuracy and give you a recommendation. There may be a branch of the company that dispensed your machine near your travels. Pressure losses are not common, and you should be looking at leak data and equipment integrity.

you missed the most common reason for pressure losses.... perception. getting used to the pressure...what once was overwhelming becomes "is this thing on???" over time.Sleeprider wrote: Pressure losses are not common, and you should be looking at leak data and equipment integrity.
Get OSCAR
Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

And if where you've travelled to is either more or less humid in general than home, you may have to raise or lower your humidity settings.

Re: loosing pressure
I totally agree, but since the O.P. seems convinced the issue is mechanical, it's easiest just to lead him to the proof, rather than try to convince him it's in his head. Another possibility is his pressure needs have increased. It happens, and would have the same perception. I kinda have the feeling we're dealing with some that does not have an awareness of data, or it's not available on his machine.palerider wrote:you missed the most common reason for pressure losses.... perception. getting used to the pressure...what once was overwhelming becomes "is this thing on???" over time.Sleeprider wrote: Pressure losses are not common, and you should be looking at leak data and equipment integrity.
The best answer may be, "so turn it up until if feels good".
